In order to support and create more opportunities of learning English for students, the International Cooperation and Education Center (IEC) cooperated with the Student Union (SU) in setting up the New  English Club based on the existing one of the SU.

On March 04th, 2012, the opening ceremony of the English Club took place in Hall E001 with the participation of representatives of the International Relations Department (IRD), IEC, and SU together with approximately 100 university’s students.

On welcoming the International Women’s Day with the topic "All About Women", a lot of interesting games were conducted to appeal the participation of students by two humorous MCs, Mr Trong Khoi and Mr Desmond. The opening ceremony left a great impression on students thanks to not only the suitable content but also a friendly English learning environment where they had chances to practice their English skills under the support of IEC’s English teachers.

As scheduled, the English Club will open on the first Sunday of each week covering a different topic. The English Club’s operation will be academically and financially supported by IEC. It is expected that the next meeting will be on April 1st 2012 in Hall B102 at 8:00 A.M
