MY HOLIDAY
Last summer, I traveled to Vung Tau City with my friend. On that day, we got up early in order to prepare the luggages.We started 6:00 am. We went there by car. It took us about 3 hours to get there. On that day the weather was very sunny. On the way I could see a lot of beautiful sceneries on road sides. We arrived in Vung Tau City at 9:00 am. We check in to the hotel which was located near the beach. We rested about few minutes then we went swimming. We came back to the hotel to have lunch at 11:00 am. We were served a lot of seafood that is what we like best. After lunch we took a short rest until 2:00 pm. We took a massage
from 3:00 to 4:00 then we climbed to the mountain. It was very interesting to stand on the top of the mountain because we could see the whole city and the vast of sea. We came back to the hotel and check of the hotel and came back home. After the trip we feel very comfortable and we hope that we will travel to Vung Tau again.

MY UNIVERSITY
My university is HCM City University of Transport located in Binh Thanh district. Although it is a new university, thousands of students enter for this university every year. There are a lot of departments some of the main ones are: Marine, Navigation, Economic and road,and Bridge deartment…..The main object of this university is to create big human source for the southern province. There are a lot of training center of in-service courses such as: Vung Tau, Ca Mau and Can Tho…All of the teachers are experienced and well educated. Most of the students are a male-student but however, they are hard-working and they always obey all the regulations of the university very well. In my university: there are swimming pool, library, internet-room, work-shops, lab laboratory ….
Most of students well find a job after they finish university. A lot of activities are organized every year to make students feel comfortable and confident. Being a student I love university very much.

MY COUNTRY
Vietnam is my country, it is a tropical country so it ht and wet. Vietnam is divided into three parts in general speaking. They are: the North, the South and the Middle. Each part have arrow feature, but people of there are very kind, friendly, hard-working and especially peace-loving.
Although Vietnam is small country, it has a lot of beauty sport such as: Ha Long Bay, Hoi An ancient and Hue citadel…
Vietnamese-food is very deli rows attracted a lot of foreign tourists coming to Vietnam, Vietnamese people are always eager to learn from each other to improve themselves.
In war-time Vietnamese people united together to fight against the foreign aggressive and peace-time they are making efforts to contribute the country.
I’m very proud of being Vietnamese people. I think, being a student, I have to study well to make my parents happy and I can devote something to make country richer and more beautiful.

I’m Khuat Le Long, I’m the first year student at Marine Engneering of Transpost University in Ho Chi Minh city. Now, I present to you the Topic about….
MY HOLIDAY
Last summer, I took a short holiday in Ha Long Bay with my friends. Ha Long is a famous tourist area in Viet Nam. It’s not far from Ha Noi capital.
We wend to threr by coach. Then we checked into the hotel. After lunch, we took a rest. And in the afternoon, we swam in the sea. The seashore was very nice.
In the everning, we played guitar and sang on the beach. Then we went for a walk. We had a lots of fun and we went to bed very late.
The next day, we visited some caves by ship. The weather was very nice and the caves were very imposing. We took lots of photos.
After visitting, we went to ha Long market and came back to Ha Noi.
Althought only 2 days, but we had a good time. That was a wonderful journey.
MY COUNTRY
My country is Viet Nam. It likes the letter “S”. It’s a developing country in the South East of Asia with total area is about 330 000 square kilometers. There are 64 provinces in Viet Nam. And the population is over 80 millions with 54 ethnic groups. In there, the Kinh ethnic is the largest groups with more than 90%.
Viet Nam is one of four socialist countries in the world ang the member of ASEAN, WTO, UNESSCO….
Ha Noi is Viet Nam’s capital. It’s on the North area of Viet Nam. But the largest city in Viet Nam is Ho Chi Minh city.
The weather in Viet Nam is hot, wet and rainny because Viet Nam is a tropical climate country.
There are many beautifulsite in Viet Nam such as: Ha Long Bay, Sapa, Da Lat…. And the VietNamese people is very hospitable, so every year Viet Nam attracts a lot of visitor.
However Viet Nam is a poor country but the VietNamese people is very kindful and friendly. I always pride of my nation and love my country so much. My country is on the way of being developed and completed day by day, month by month, year by year and I hope it will develop more and more modern in the future.
MY UNIVERSITY
The first name of my university is “Maritime University” and then it has been renamed “Transport University in Ho Chi Minh city” since 2001. It is one of the most biggest university of the South of Viet Nam. There are 4 campuses: 3 campuses in Ho Chi Minh city and another one in Vung Tau city. Main campus is in Binh Thanh distrist. There are 9 departments and many majors with over 12 thousands students in my university. It’s rather large with playground, swimming pool, computer labs, dormitarys, libraries…. However, the amphitheatre and material facilities are quite small and obsolete. My university is on the way of being developed and completed day by day, month by month, year by year. I pride of my university very much and I hope Transport University will develop more and more modern in the future.
THE PERSON WHO I LIKE BEST
When I was 13 years old, I have stared to learn to play guitar. I often played Trinh Cong Son’s songs and I like them very much. So, I admire this composer.
Trinh Cong Son is one of the great names of VietNamese music. He is slim and has glasses. He is quiet good looking but he doesn’t get married.
He was born in 1939 in Dac Lac. He taught himself music and has stared to compose songs when he was 19 years old. His first song is “Uot mi”.
Until he died in 2001 in Ho Chi Minh city, he has had over 600 songs and many prizes at home and aboard. A lots of his songs is translated to many languages.
Besides music, he writes poems, literature and drawing.
In Viet Nam, nobody doesn’t know composer Trinh Cong Son. And each time I listen to his songs I always feel he is a musical genius.

Shopping.
Shopping is one of the most women’s hobbies. When they need something, they can go out and buy in the nearest shop or get a ring to the shop. It’s very convenient, easy and fast. But in the free time, they uauslly want o go shopping because they fell that is a relaxtion.
They can look many things, many kinds and compare the price, the quality and choose the best things for their family or buy nothing. So, if they don’t have a lots of money, they still can go shopping.
And I, I don’t like to go shopping because I think it takes me alots of time. But sometime, I must to go shopping with my mother because she want a person for lifting something. I push the trolley after my mother and wait when she buy. It’s very bored.
I think almost of the men are agree with me, they don’t like go shopping.
Job I like best.
In the old time, when T was a child, I have liked the musical very much. And I have started to learnd musical qhen I was 5 years old. So, I want to become a musician.
I wish I can compose a lots of wonderful melodies. And many many people like my songs. At that time, I will become a famous person. I will be invited to some game shows on television and I have a hight income.
Do you think that is very wonderful?
But my dream is only a dream. It’s not pactical. Now, there are many many musicians but not much of them are successful. I think I don’t have ability to write the good songs. So, I only play musical as a hobby, not a job. And now I study the economy.
Travelling.
As from I became a student, I have had alots of newfriends. They are from many another places in Viet Nam. And they usually invite me to visit their houses when we have a holiday: Summer holiday or Lunar new year holiday. So, I have some wonderful journeys.
I often go to my friends’s countrysides by passenger car and thay take me to their houses. I stay at there with may friend’s familys for about 2 or 3 days. They guide me to visit some sightseeings in their countrysides.
After those journeys, I’m more understand about my friends, their familys, their countrysides. And I don’t’s pay for housing.
So I think those are the interesting and cheap journeys.
Food and health.
Health is one of the most important factor. So, everybody often say “ Health is gold”. To have a good health, we need to have a good diet. It’s very important.
We usually have 3 meals in a day. Lunch dinner are 2 main meals Beside, the breakfast is very necessary. It helps us to recover energy after the long time of the night.
We should have a lot of vegetables, fruits and complex carbohydrates such as rice, bread, carrot, energy and fibre.
We also should have many fishs, seafoods than meats. And eat as little as possible fat, oild, sugar. Beside we should drinks milk and fruits juice.
They are good for health.
It’s one of the best ways to improve your health.

Rất vui khi thấy các bạn bàn luận khí thế về kì thi anh văn sắp tới. Mình cũng xin chia sẻ một số kinh nghiệm để có kết quả cao trong kì thi vấn đáp này:
1. Khâu chuẩn bị là rất quan trọng, khi bạn chuẩn bị đầy đủ thì bạn sẽ trở nên tự tin trong khi trình bày, không ấp a ấp úng. Đó là một yếu tố ăn điểm trong các kì thi vấn đáp.
Topics thì các bạn nên tự viết, nếu ko chắc chắn thì có thể nhờ người giúp cho hoàn chỉnh. Bời dù sao, ngôn từ do mình viết ra cũng dễ đọc và dễ thuộc hơn mà
Các bạn cũng nên tự đặt những câu hỏi mà mình có thể gặp rồi tự trả lời luôn, đến khi vào thi thật thì bạn sẽ khỏi bỡ ngỡ nữa. Nếu có học nhóm thì càng tốt.
2. Sau khi chuẩn bị kĩ rùi thì đến phần thi thật. Có nhiều bạn có thể áp lực quá nên quên mất cả những điều cơ bản nhất đó là chào hỏi. Rất dễ nhưng có thể chiếm được cảm tình của giáo viên, đó là khi ngồi vào bàn thì đừng có tiếc gì mà không chào : GOOD MORNING TEACHER or GOOD AFTERNOON ji ji đó, hoặc GOOD EVENING nếu bạn muốn .
3. Khi bạn trình bày Topic hay trả lời các câu hỏi thì bạn nên đọc và trả lời từ từ, rõ ràng cố gắng đừng ấp úng, ko cần phải vội vàng, bạn có thể suy nghĩ một lúc nếu cần, các giáo viên người ta ko khó chỗ đó đâu.
